Because every engagement ring is crafted to order in our Los Angeles jewelry studio, our CAD designers modify the basket, prong spacing, and gallery dimensions specifically around the exact millimeter measurements of your chosen natural or lab-grown center stone—whether it is an elongated oval, emerald, radiant, or classic round brilliant.
What is the difference between a hidden halo, classic halo, and solitaire setting?
A **classic halo** encircles the center diamond with micro-pavé stones on top of the head to significantly broaden the stone's perceived face-up size. A **hidden halo** tucks diamond accents beneath the center stone within the gallery basket, providing subtle sparkle visible exclusively from the profile without altering top-down dimensions. A **solitaire** keeps the focus entirely on the center gem with a clean, unadorned band.
Which precious metal is most durable for delicate micro-pavé or thin bands: 14k, 18k, or Platinum?

For custom bespoke projects, the workflow includes initial 3D CAD rendering approvals (3–5 days), 3D wax printing, precious metal casting, hand gemstone setting, and hand finishing in our downtown Los Angeles workshop.
Can I purchase a ring setting only and bring my own heirloom or loose diamond?
Yes. You can select any engagement ring semi-mount from our collection for a stone you already own. We request the exact millimeter dimensions and GIA/IGI grading report details of your stone during checkout so our jewelers can craft the prongs and head assembly to seat your diamond securely.
Will my engagement ring sit completely flush with a straight diamond wedding band?
Whether a wedding band sits flush depends on the bridge and head architecture of the ring. Our **high-set** and **cathedral** settings are intentionally engineered with raised basket clearances so traditional straight eternity bands slide underneath without a gap. For ultra-low profile baskets, we craft custom contoured, chevron, or open-cuff wedding bands to hug the curve of the setting.
