Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson tied the knot this weekend. The wedding took place Sunday at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. The wedding weekend started off on Friday with an exclusive screening of Mahogany, which is a 1975 film that stars the great Diana Ross. Solange and Ferguson watched this movie on their first date, which adds a lovely personal touch to the weekend.
The bride’s sister, Beyonce, shared a photo of the happy couple all dressed in white. In another artistic photo, the singer shared a photo of the entire Knowles family also all dressed in white for the celebration.
This is the second wedding for Knowles, who is a model, singer, and songwriter. Knowles, 28, was previously married to Daniel Smith from 2004 until 2007. Ferguson, 51, is a music video director who has directed videos for the likes of Beyonce, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z, and others.
