Rumors are circulating that an engagement between Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards is soon to follow.

For those not in the know, Zayn Malik, 20, from One Direction and Perrie Edwards, 19, from Little Mix are dating.

One Direction are an English-Irish pop boy band based in London that consists of five members.  The boy band came in third on the seventh series of British TV singing competition The X Factor and were signed by Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco Records, soon after.  Little Mix are a British girl group that was formed in 2011 and consists of four members.  The group won the eighth series of The X Factor and was also signed by Syco Records.

It seems that One Direction and Little Mix fans may soon be hearing wedding bells.  Perrie Edwards recently tweeted a statement that makes it seem like an engagement is soon to follow for these two love birds.

“You better get ready to hold babies more @zaynmalik. Since meeting that child today, that’s givin’ me ideas Perrie <3,” tweeted Edwards on the official Twitter account for Little Mix.

An undisclosed source has been quoted as saying “They’ve been discussing getting engaged with family and friends and everyone thinks it’s a great idea. Zayn Malik’s deadly serious about it and it looks like he could propose at any time.”
