Mariska Hargitay stars as Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and in recent seasons, she is usually seen wearing a thin ring. My impression is that it is a thin diamond band, probably an eternity ring, manufactured in what looks like rose gold.

The look of a thin diamond band worn alone is really pretty. Benson wears it as a right hand ring (she is not married or in a relationship, as of the end of season 15). Worn on the left hand, it would make a beautiful wedding ring or anniversary ring.
