Jessica Simpson  finally tied the knot to long-time love Eric Johnson on Saturday July 5th. The couple was married at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California in front of their family and friends. The happy couple was interviewed exclusively by PEOPLE. “We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment,” they shared in a mutual statement. “To say ‘I do’ in front of family, friends, and most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives.”

Jessica was given a three stone diamond and ruby engagement ring when the couple became engaged in 2010 after six months of dating. The ring was originally designed and manufactured by Tiffany and Co., but it was purchased through Neil Lane. High quality rubies are quite valuable and with her center stone weighing over 5 carats, the ring must have been quite the investment for the NFL player.

Wedding guests that saw Simpson walk down the aisle in her custom Carolina Herrera gown included the bride’s sister Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, Jessica Alba, and Donald Faison.

The is the second marriage for Simpson, who was married to Nick Lachey from 98 Degrees from 2002 until 2006. This is also the second marriage for Johnson, who was previously married to Keri Johnson from 2005 until 2010. Simpson and Johnson have two children together.
