Cushion Cut Gemstone Engagement Rings
Posted on May 04 2016
Gemstone engagement rings have become increasingly more popular due to their vibrant, colorful hues and their affordability. Gemstones come in a variety of shapes and carat weights and are cut to maximize their color. One of the most popular stone shapes is cushion cut, which is a rounded square shape stone. Today, I wanted to showcase a few of my favorite cushion cut gemstone engagement rings that deBebians offers.
Blue sapphires are an excellent gemstone for an engagement ring due to their hardness and traditional color. We created this halo engagement ring with pave set diamonds on three sides of the band in addition to the halo. The diamonds have G color with VS clarity and will weigh approximately 1.15 cttw. This is truly an impressive ring that features a 2.00 carat center sapphire.
Aquamarine gemstones have one of the most pleasing hues in my opinion. The light blue coloring is reminiscent of calm seas and complements the sparkle of the white diamonds beautifully. The ring is set with u pave set diamonds weighing 0.60 cttw. The center stone is a 2.00 carat cushion cut aquamarine, which is held into place by a double prong setting.
I wanted to include this diamond accented gemstone engagement ring because of its timeless design. The center stone is available in your choice of 1.25 carat (7×7) or 2.50 carat (9×9). We use G color VS clarity diamonds on the band that weigh 0.30 cttw. The classic look of this ring allows it to be worn with a wide variety of wedding ring designs.
We can source a different stone shape or size as well as customize any of our engagement ring settings to feature your desired gemstone.
