Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young proposed to Australian rapper Iggy Azalea on June 1, 2015, with an 8.15-carat fancy intense yellow diamond engagement ring accented with 2.28 carats of white diamonds.
Nina Earl and Russell Westbrook Jr.
Oklahoma City Thunder player Russell Westbrook Jr. proposed to Nina Earl in late summer 2014 with an engagement ring from Jason of Beverly Hills. The ring features an elongated cushion cut diamond with VVS clarity and is reportedly worth $700,000.
Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade
Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade proposed to former model Gabrielle Union on Dec. 21, 2013, with an 8.5-carat cushion cut diamond solitaire engagement ring from Jason of Beverly Hills. It is reportedly worth $1 million.
Savannah Brinson and LeBron James
Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron James proposed to his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, during a New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31, 2011. Her ring features a large pear-shaped diamond, flanked by baguette diamonds. It’s estimated to be worth $300,000.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
Washington Wizards player Kris Humphries proposed to reality TV star Kim Kardashian in May 2011 with a 19.81 cttw. three stone engagement ring featuring a 16.21-carat center emerald diamond and a pair of 1.80-carat trapezoids. After their divorce, the ring was auctioned off and sold for $620,000.
La La Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony
New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony proposed to TV personality La La Vasquez on Christmas Day 2004. On her 33rd birthday, Anthony upgraded his wife’s ring (pictured above) with a 20-carat oval diamond halo engagement ring.
