Everyone loves what a celebrity becomes engaged.  We get to see their wedding plans unfold, including which style their engagement ring they received after they accepted their marriage proposal.  One style of engagement ring that has become quite popular all realms, including the celebrity world, is the halo ring.  This vintage-inspired piece of jewelry is available for all diamond sizes and shapes.  A halo ring creates an even greater impact and demands attention.

One such celebrity that received one such ring is actress Natalie Portman. When Benjamin Millepied proposed to Portman, he did so with a round halo engagement ring that was created with recycled platinum and an antique center diamond.  Millepied took into consideration Portman’s vegan and social active lifestyle when he helped design this ring with jeweler Jamie Wolf.

Katherine Heigl is another such celebrity to receive a gorgeous halo ring.  Her pear shape halo engagement ring was given to the actress by Josh Kelley in 2006.  It features a three-carat pear shaped diamond that Heigl selected herself.
