Blue Sapphire Accented Engagement Rings for September
Posted on September 21 2016
The birthstone for the month of September is the blue sapphire, which is a popular addition to bridal jewelry. Sapphires are hard and they score a 9 on Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness, making them an ideal gemstone to be worn every day. Blue sapphires add a unique touch of color to a setting and can also have a special meaning for a couple. For instance, if your anniversary is in September, including this gemstone is a beautiful nod to the beginning of your relationship. Below are just a handful of blue sapphire accented engagement rings that we have available from deBebians.
This sapphire engagement ring is one of my favorite designs due to its antique-inspired elements. The halo is set with round brilliant cut blue sapphires. We use AAA quality blue sapphires that will have an approximate total carat weight of 0.44 cttw.
Five stone engagement rings are popular designs, but this classic has a distinctive edge. The blue sapphires are modern and complement the center stone beautifully. The AAA quality blue sapphires will weigh approximately 0.60 cttw. We used a classic shared prong setting to showcase the sapphires.
Three round brilliant cut sapphires are set into a cluster on either side of the center stone in this Art Deco-inspired design. The ring is completed with milgrain and pave set diamonds along the band, giving the ring an overall antique look and feel.
