Breaking Bad star, Aaron Paul, and anti-bullying activist & co-CEO of Kind Campaign, Lauren Parsekian, have tied the knot! The two were married on Sunday, May 26th in a Paris-themed wedding in Malibu, CA. The wedding took place at the Calamigos Ranch and included 250 guests, including Paul’s co-star, Bryan Cranston, who acted as one of the groomsmen.
Parsekian, 26, said of the ceremony, “It was beautiful and so emotional.” She also lovingly reminisced, “The first moment I saw Aaron will forever be the most perfect visual snapshot of my life.”
Paul, 33, shared a photo of his blushing bride on his Instagram and said, “I married my best friend on Sunday and I can’t stop staring at her. Love you pretty.”
The bride wore the ‘Paris’ gown by Kenneth Pool, which featured a Cinderella style gown, and her bridesmaids wore Amsale gowns made out of vanilla colored chiffon. Paul and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black bow ties from Burberry. Parsekian did her own makeup for the ceremony, but Michael Kanyon Habib styled her hair in flowing curls.
The wedding was an amazing whirlwind of carnival-esque performances–including stilt walkers, mimes, and even magic being performed by none other than celebrity magician David Blaine. There were also musical performances by indie group Foster the People and soulful crooner John Mayer. The guests were required to wear masquerade masks for the reception, which was held in front of carnival games and a large Ferris wheel.
The couple first met at the Coachella music festival and became engaged on New Year’s Eve 2011 in Paris, France. Paul proposed with a stunning double halo engagement ring, which appears to feature a cushion cut center stone.
