Going on vacation? I am headed to some place sunny for a few days! I’m looking forward to lounging by the pool, sipping fruity drinks and just relaxing. For me, the last thing I want to think about is my diamond engagement ring set. For this reason, I am leaving them safely behind in my safe so I don’t have to worry about them.
Here are a few reasons behind my decision…
- Swimming around in the pool and/or ocean, your fingers can shrink a little because of the cold water. Along with this, the water may cause your ring to slide off your finger and you may never even notice. Believe me… we have shipped many wedding bands to Hawaii for this exact reason.
- For me, when I’m traveling, I don’t want to draw attention to myself. Does it really matter to me that much that I won’t wear my diamond rings for a few days? I’d rather be safe than sorry and leave my jewelry at home in a safe place.
- You want to enjoy your vacation and not worry about your jewelry.
- Who wants to apply sun block when you’re wearing your diamond ring? It will get gunky and dirty and could also slip off.
Remember when you’re going on vacation to maybe leave your fine jewelry at home in your safe. It’s worth considering so you can really relax and enjoy your vacation.
