New Eternity Band Styles
Posted on June 16 2015
Last week we had an update to our catalog and added four new unique eternity band designs to our site, so I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to check out the new styles.
1) Bezel Set Diamond Eternity Band
A bezel setting is a pretty classic setting style that provides a ton of security for your diamonds as they’re basically encapsulated in metal with only the tables of the stones visible. They have a very modern, sleek appeal since the metal creates a cylindrical appearance that is smooth and unique. The band itself measures about 2 mm in width, which makes it a rather delicate looking piece, but stunningly beautiful in its own way.
2) Vintage Style Pave Diamond Eternity Band
This vintage style band gives off a very distinct impression as each diamond is pave set into the band, but bordered by milgrained walls giving the ring a sophisticated appearance and a certain level of security.
3) East-West Radiant Diamond Eternity Ring
A radiant cut diamond is a diamond shape that has been gaining some ground in terms of popularity as it is a variety of brilliant cut stone, but is unique in that it has cut off corners much like emerald and asscher stones. 2015 has really been a year popular for oval cut stones for us, but we’ve seen a good share of radiant cut stones as well. This eternity band setting gives homage to that stone with each of the stones set east-west so that the stones appear long and the band is thin. Each stone is set into a semi-bezel setting with metal surrounding most of the sides with a slight taper inward at the corners. This creates a motif that looks quite a lot like bricks and a ring that appears to be somewhat like a sturdy wall.
4) Asscher Diamond Eternity Ring
Asscher cut diamonds give off a pretty sophisticated appearance and since they are step-cut stones, must be rather high quality in order to be eye clean and beautiful since it is more difficult to hide blemishes in a step cut stone. They are very much representative of no-nonsense and what-you-see-is-what-you-get type personalities. This particular eternity has asscher diamonds set end to end in a channel setting which is secure, but also allows for the tables of the stones to be unobscured by metal prongs.
We hope you enjoyed this look at some of our newest diamond eternity designs. Rings such as these make excellent gift ideas for anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, or can even make for incredibly beautiful wedding bands. Do you have a favorite?
