As we previously reported, Kat Von D and Deadmau5 are officially engaged after Deadmau5 proposed via Twitter on Dec. 14th. The Canadian DJ presented Kat Von D with a custom black diamond engagement ring just days later on Dec. 23rd.
“Tonight, Joel put a ring on my finger — Too taken aback by its beauty and its meaning to post a pic right now,” Von D, an L.A. based tattoo artist, tweeted.
Soon after, she tweeted a picture of the black diamond ring that features two skulls with the caption, “Doesn’t get anymore official.” The ring also features pave set black diamonds on the band. The ring was crafted by the Great Frog London.
In addition to the engagement ring, Deadmau5 also gifted Kat Von D with a life-sized stuffed moose. Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, captured his fiancé’s reaction on video and shared it with their fans. The couple celebrated the holidays in Canada.
