Recently it was confirmed that our favorite Gilmore Girl, Alexis Bledel, and Mad Men star, Vincent Kartheiser, are planning to wed.  Well, Us Weekly caught up with the actress on the red carpet during her L.A. premiere of her TV Movie, Remembering Sunday.  Bledel showed off her gorgeous engagement ring and talked about her wedding plans.

Bledel’s diamond engagement ring features a large, round brilliant diamond in a delicate platinum band.  “Vincent picked it out,’ Bledel gushed.  We love that Kartheiser chose an antique style engagement ring to present to his love after a nearly a year of dating.  Bledel, 31, and Kartheiser, 33, shared the screen during the Season 5 of Mad Men.  Bledel played the unstable mistress of Pete Campbell, Kartheiser’s character.

Bledel revealed that she and her husband-to-be will be sharing the responsibilities of planning their upcoming wedding.  “We’re doing it together,” she explained to Us Weekly. “We haven’t started yet though.”

Mad Men’s Season 6 recently premiered and Us Weekly spoke to Kartheiser on the red carpet during the premiere.  He expressed that he was still adjusting to the new engagement.  He said that he was still adjusting to the new engagement.  “I keep saying girlfriend,” he said. “And then I’m like, ‘I mean, my fiancee!'”  The actor also added, “I’m a very lucky man.”
