Drop Halo and Under Halo Engagement Rings

One of the most popular engagement ring styles of today is the under halo engagement ring, also called the drop halo engagement ring. A traditional, standard halo ring setting features a halo of diamonds that surrounds the center stone, which can give the appearance of a larger center stone. An under halo features a row or ring of pave set diamonds that will sit on the side or below the center stone. Whereas you can view a standard halo from above, an under halo is visible from the side of the ring setting. This ring above is item number HE381, which has quickly become a favorite design due to its elegance, simplicity, and timelessness.

One of our newest under halo ring settings is HE386. This under halo ring was designed to fit any shape center stone while keeping a sleek thin shank at 1.5mm wide. Current trends seem to be thinner bands while adding a little extra bling to the under halo portion of the engagement ring.
