Chinese Stars Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming Marry

Hong Kong entertainment news site Ah Mike reports that on October 8th the couple finally held their wedding after dating since 2010 and registering their marriage in May.

The lavish ceremony held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, which included sights such as intricate set design and a special ballet performance along the aisle, reportedly cost around $50 million (probably Hong Kong dollars since the source is a Hong Kong site; equivalent to almost $6.5 million US dollars), and had many of the couple’s famous friends in attendance. Huang supposedly had a custom made Tom Ford suit designed for the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the couple exchanged heartfelt sentiments declaring commitment and support into old age.

Late last month as well, Angelababy, whose real name is Angela Yeung, shared her 5.53 carat total weight engagement ring on her Instagram account.

The floral design has an infinity twist style band with a nature inspired wire-like motif that features the center pear diamond like a blooming blossom and accent round and pear diamonds like the leaves of a plant perfectly flanking the center pear symmetrically. Reportedly the ring is worth about $8 million (probably Hong Kong currency; equivalent to just over $1 million US).

The pageantry of their nuptials truly takes on a fairytale-like quality as well considering the couple also had a wedding photo shoot in Paris just before their big day.

We hope you feel as inspired as we do looking at this couple’s happy union.  We wish Angelababy and Huang Xiaoming the best.
