Elle Macpherson has accepted billionaire Jeffrey Soffer’s marriage proposal. Access Hollywood was the first to report the happy news. Macpherson, 49, and Soffer, 43, dated for two years prior to splitting in March 2012.
Soffer owns luxurious resort-hotel company, Fontainebleau Resorts, LCC, located in Miami, FL. The couple rekindled their romance after Soffer fractured his vertebrae in a Bahamas helicopter crash that took place on Thanksgiving Day 2012. The crash took the life of Soffer’s close friend, tax layer and founder of Pioneer Capital, Lance Valdez.
This will be the second marriage for the Australian supermodel, who was married from 1986 to 1989 to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon. The Australian beauty and fashion icon has two sons with ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson, ages 10 and 15.
Macpherson was the formerly the host of Fashion Star and is currently the host and executive producer of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model. The couple has yet to comment on their engagement, but we are excited to see what type of engagement ring Macpherson was presented. Congrats to the happy couple!
