Wedding season is almost here and we could not be more ecstatic. We have been enjoying creating new designs, but also admiring the new jewelry trends that have emerged this year. One of my favorite trends this year has been engagement rings that feature a single colored diamond or colored accent diamonds. I have chosen three of my favorite examples from deBebians that feature colored diamonds.
This classic solitaire engagement ring was made from 18 karat yellow gold and is set with a fancy intense yellow radiant cut diamond. Though this ring is simple, the design is timeless and showcases the rich hue of the fancy yellow diamond beautifully. The yellow diamond shown has a total carat weight of 0.78 ct, VS2 clarity, and is GIA certified.
2. Cushion Baby Split Double Halo Engagement Ring with Pink Diamonds
This double halo engagement ring has a unique twist and features fancy pink diamonds on the inner halo. The inner halo also features rose gold, which brings out the distinctive color of the pink diamonds. This engagement ring is shown with a 1.60 ct GIA certified cushion cut diamond that has H color and SI1 clarity. We also have halo and double halo engagement rings that feature fancy yellow diamonds.
3. Champagne Diamond Rose Gold Engagement Ring
If you are interested in a fancy colored diamond, including champagne diamonds, please contact one of our GIA graduate gemologists for assistance. This ring was custom made for a 1.02 ct champagne colored diamond. The engagement ring was made from 14 karat rose gold and features a white diamond halo.
